Have you been to the downtown area recently? If you have then you have seen all of the wonderul renovations that have been made to our town.
The new curbing with the trees and flowers, and the brick cross-walks are just beautiful! I would say in the past 10 years downtown Easley has had quite a change to it's appearance. When I was a little girl, I would get to go with a friend every Saturday morning to downtown Easley to go shopping at the Dimestore, and Winn Dixie, Sarlins Clothing Store, and other shops. It was a treat to get to do this on Saturday. Also, a lot of the old stores have now been renovated, and are being occupied once again, but the upstairs of the stores or businesses have been turned into apartments. I have a friend that has a salon on main street, and she actually lives in the apartment above her salon. Her salon is "Downtown Dimensions". Barbara Adams is the owner. Her salon offers a lot of different services. Massages, hair design, manicures, pedicures, facials, and other salon services. One day she is wanting to have a coffee shop in her salon as well.
