This part of the country has not really suffered to the extent of the rest of the country. Here are the single family states for the past few years based on the local MLS information.

As you can see from these stats from 2004 to 2008 DOM are up just a little of 17%, and from last year just up 3%.

The average sale price from 2004 to 2008 is up by 11% and only down by 2% from last year.

The number of sales are down substanualy but but values have not been hurt that much. If the banks can get thier act together we should recover here very quickly.
