7/16/07: West Forsyth High School will open this August to begin it's first year 2007-2008. It is the first High School t be built in over 50 years. Richard Gill will be the principal for West Forsyth High School. He was formerly the principal for South Forsyth High School. Wolverines will be the mascot. Colors will be Hunter Green, Navy Blue and Vegas Gold.
7/15/07: Movies in the Park returns to Cumming. This is our 2nd annual Movies in the park. On July 28th Souther Outdoor Cinema will present family-friendly movies, games, face painting, crafts, prizes, and more. The movie will be shown on a 65 foot inflatable screen. Activities begin at 6:00pm & movie at 9:00pm. It is free and all are encouraged to attend. Bring lawn chairs, or something to sit on. It will be held at Central Park on 2300 Keith Bridge Rd, Cumming.
