NO LEADERSHIP

Just reading on Jim Crawford's post Democrats Propose Another Stimulus Package Today? The good folks in DC want more free money. Not to place a package in place, but for Radio's and the like. Obama wants the debate to move forward tonight so he can hide his inability of LEADERSHIP and Voting ability in Congress. We need a Leader now. He will leave DC this morning to go to Mississippi for tonight free TV time. Again Free! McCain wants to weather the storm and fight for us. If we have to spend this money at least have someone who will watch over the chicken coup. Just my early thoughts this morning. I really think it is a leadership issue.

PLEASE PUT OUR COUNTRY FIRST!

Frank - I agree, put the welfare of the U.S. first, ahead of political considerations.

Frank,

It just boggles my mind that McCain is not leading in the polls by at least 20 %

Hugh, good to hear from you. I think people are afraid to admit who they will vote for. I am born and raised here in the South, and can relate to staying in the background.

The Democrats have enough votes to pass the bill all by themselves.  They just want Republicans on board so they can blame them if it doesn't work.

Well, Obama surely is not a great leader. But same for McCain. To me, McCain does not understand economy at all.

(AP) Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama may have a lot of explaining to do.

He voted against requiring medical care for aborted fetuses who survive. He supported allowing retired police officers to carry concealed weapons, but opposed allowing people to use banned handguns to defend against intruders in their homes. And the list of sensitive topics goes on.

With only a slim, two-year record in the U.S. Senate, Obama doesn't have many controversial congressional votes which political opponents can frame into attack ads. But his eight years as an Illinois state senator are sprinkled with potentially explosive land mines, such as his abortion and gun control votes.
