Before we enter into another beautiful weather weekend here in Tampa Bay, I wanted to take take a moment to remind all readers, and dedicate this Friday blog, about Stride for Strays.  As we enjoy our time off, in the comfort of our own homes, with family and loved ones, there are countless pets in our area that will not be so fortunate. 

Animals truly are our best friends! And, the Animal Coalition of Tampa, a non-profit organization here in Tampa Bay, is dedicated to the health and safety of our biggest fans and companions, by offering an array of low cost limited veterinary services, including spaying and neutering, to our community. 

Stride For Strays, sponsored by the Animal Coalition of Tampa, will be held Saturday, October 11, 2008 at Lowry Park, across from Lowry Park Zoo.  Please save the date!  If you cannot make this fundraising event, please, please, please think about the countless pets in our area without a home and family, who desperately need your support. 

If you cannot make this outstanding event, you can still contribute by mailing your sponsored donations to The Animal Coalition of Tampa, 1710 Lemon St, Tampa, FL  33606.
