Boy, do I have an idea! I have always wanted to get together with "professionals" within the Real Estate business to network and learn.

I would like an easy going "open" forum where we can all relax, share and learn of new technologies and applications.

I want to meet with friends I have built relationships with through the network of Active Rain and its wonderful communities...I want to make new friends and expand my knowledge of the opportunities offered now and coming in the near future for the benefit of Real Estate.

I want to meet these two guys who seem to have the world on their side when it comes to business and    computer savvy.Real Estate Agent: Rich Jacobson ~ ActiveRain Community Builder (ActiveRain Corporation) Rich Jacobson and Brad Andersohn will be giving seminars for our Active Rain!

Deb - I just met with Rich and some AR Gods in Las Vegas Nevada last weekend. Do you think Rich would get mad if I came to Houston to meet him again? Rich sure is making the rounds isn't he.

Rich is a wonderful man and it was a pleasure meeting him. I will try to get down to Houston to meet everyone, OK?

I had a great time at REbar camp at inman, the best part of it. Free for you, but flights and hotels for some of us. I will attend in N. Y. in January. Go, have fun, Rich and Brad are the best, just who you think they are.

Rich, is this going to be fun or what I'm so excited?!?  Michael Price asked me to blog about this for him and I gratefully accepted! I am so looking forward to meeting you and Brad and all the other AR members that will be there. I plan to get Marchel Peterson there...I'm not sure if she knows that yet.

Scott and I are introducing BuyWaterfronts.com our advertising site for waterfronts and I just can't wait! There is so much to learn! I understand you are coming in a day early to help get ready. I can volunteer for it without a problem. The Woodlands is only about a 40 minute drive for me.

I will work on this with Lenn. My creative mind didn't express this as well as I thought. :-)

She's a left brainer and I'm a right brainer...if I'm remembering right. I have a good memory...it's just very short..He,he.

Yvette, hop a plane and I'll pick you up!

Missy, I would have loved to have met you...one of these days though!

Norma, I will be snapping pics all over the place! I promise.

Brad, I can't wait to meet you, my friend! Are you bringing Debra? I'll look forward to your session!

Bill, William, just be there! Let Michael Price know! I'm looking forward to meeting you!

Lenn,

It took a while for me to wrap my mind around this too. It's not like the basic "trade show" really because it's more relaxed.

We have a certain number of Sponsors and they are the only ones (at this point) that pay money. It's a relatively small amount and we are able to advertise and place our names on the schedule for sessions to tell about our "newest and best". Different sponsors have different messages and will be able to speak to different sessions.

We all basicly simply decide which sessions we will sit in on (gee, I wonder who'll be the busiest?).

There is no schedule until we sign in that morning so it will be a little like Wall Street...hectic and exciting.

I can't wait! I wish you would come too.

Deb,

Thanks for the post, great to see so many comments and folks that are planning to come. If you're like Lenn and "don't get it" Check out the links below. Many have dubbed events like this as an "uncoference", essentially it's like a normal conference with tracks and sessions, the big difference is that the tracks and sessions are not created ahead of time and they are not created by the conference organizers, they are created the morning of the event and they are created by the attendees.
