As the Owner and Founder of ReStyled to Sell Home Staging in NJ, I am proud to say that most of our business comes from staging occupied homes. While I LOVE staging a builders vacant model home, I have to admit that the challenge of transforming an occupied home is most fun to me.

Over the years I have seen many homes ranging from beautifully, decorated with stylish furniture to outdated and at times often scary...Here is one that we were called in to consult on!

THIS IS FOR REAL!! This was someone's bathroom and I need NOT SAY MORE! This takes depersonalizing your space to a WHOLE NEW LEVEL! We never got the opportunity to stage this house as it went into foreclosure. BUT I HAD NO DOUBT THAT THE TEAM OF RESTYLED TO SELL WOULD HAVE SHED A NEW LIGHT ON THIS SPACE.

The next photo is of a kitchen that was completely, tired, dated and just way too cluttered. At first you would think that the space would need to be gutted...BUT, with a little elbow grease (well, actually alot), my great team backing me up and a whole lot of paint, we took this kitchen from SCARY....TO LIGHT AND AIRY!

Selling your home does not need to be a HARROWING EXPERIENCE...Call on the team of ReStyled to Sell Home Staging for your in home consultation today @ 732-995-3425. We do the work, so you don't have to.

ReStyled to Sell Home Staging can change the way buyers view your home!

Yes, that kitchen took a lot of elbow grease but the result was wonderful.  Unbelievable.  But I must ask about the bathroom.  I want to see its after.  Any pics available?

WOW- You obviously helped that home become a warm and inviting property. I bet the sellers did not want to move!

Phyllis,

Great transformation!  That clutter would have scared any potential buyer right out of the house, never to come back!  Fantastic work!

Now no one will be afraid to touch anything in the kitchen and if they want to redo the kitchen it is at least now livable!

That bathroom looks like it belongs to a teenage goth girl...could have been mine when I was 15!

I've never seen a kitchen look so good with orange counter tops and avocado refrigerator.

Great job.

The bathroom looks like of friends of mine.  She had 4 teenage girls.

Too bad you didn't get a chance to redo that room

Phyllis, those before photos just might give me nightmares!  But you pulled the rabbit outta the hat and made the kitchen look great.  Have you ever tried painting a fridge?  I did once, very easy, looked great.  I understand you can paint stoves too but never had the nerve to try it.  Great job!

What great "befores"  because it shows what awesome work you can do!  I'm sure it was lots of hard work however!  Good Job!

Yes this bathroom was scary, you should have seen the rest of the house, but as I mentioned we never got the chance to stage it because it went into foreclosure. As far as the ORANGE kitchen, we SHOULD have spray painted the refrigerator white BUT...the rest of the house required SO MUCH WORK INSIDE AND OUT, that we tried to keep the budget costs down as the children were paying for this for their mom.

The refrigerator will need to be replaced regardless. We have to pick and choose our battles in order to keep within the budget and time frame.

Thanks for all your comments.

Way to go.  What a great staging job you did.  The before and after pictures of the kitchen speak for themselves.   I imagine that the sellers were amazed by the transformation.

This is a great example of why staging is so important. In the first photos you couln't even see the counters and painting the cabinets made a huge difference.

Phyllis -

Thanks for showing me the solution to a very tough problem - homes that a VERY lived in. I am new to staging, and the before-and-after photos are amazing and inspirational. I hope that I won't find that large of an "opportunity" just yet! Great job.

You did a wonderful job. The orange counter tops in the kitchen now stand out as a fun colorful feature. I am always amazed at what an improvement just painting the old cabinetry can make, let alone everything else. Bravo!
