When you have a realative in Hospice, you know your time is coming to a end soon and you must make good use of  time.  I wrote a blog about Jospeph called the Bucket list a few weeks ago.  Joseph and his best friend since childhood  Harry have worked hard on a bucke tlist since they  found out about his health issues.  Josephs heart was failing and they couln't do anything to help him.  He was in renal failure and was growing sicker evrey day.  When I left Thursday afternoon I said see you tommorw and he said If I am here.  That worried me all night and I called him 3 times Thursday eveniung, each time he was fine and watching TV.  They called me Fraiday morning at 12:30 and told me of his death.  I dreaded calling his friend Harry and waited untill 8 am to call, no answer, when I called again at 8:30 his niece answered.  I told her about Joseph, and what she said next shocked me.  She said Kathy Harry's gone too, they think he died about 12;30 or 1 am.  Wow, that was amazing and what a blessing that 2 old sick friends went to heaven togeather. My uncle never once thought of himself, he helped others and lived a very meager life.  He could of done anything he wanted, he was not poor, but choose to live his life serving others and helping people in need. He dressed as if he was poor and lived in a small house in the country.  He could have had a large house with many things, but was very happy with simple things and friends and family. He really brought happiness to others and I thank God for my time with him.  I really learned a lot about serving others and life  from him. Thanks so much for all your thoughts and prayers. Always remember time is short, make sure you spend it for God, and do somethng nice for someone today, you both will feel the joy!

Kathy:  How strange that they both died on the same day.  They went to a far better place, and didn't have to travel alone.  That's an interesting blessing to ponder.
