Its currently 9/27 and we are coming up on the end of the month, the end of the Seller assisted Down payment assistance and coming up on the end of the real estate world as we know it (if you believe some of the blogs out there)
In the past week i have had
1. A lender that spent a week shouting and being a ass to everybody on a home, demanded work to be done to get final approval and then said Oh our company stopped DPA - the guy never submitted the package...
2. A buyer that signed on 9/11, funded last Monday and still cant close because there is a deed that nobody can find the correct person to sign. (yes DPA going away on Tuesday)
3. A lender for the buyer questioning each and every signature on a contract and is stopping the deal even though everything he asked for was provided. (dpa dead on Monday)
4. Wires cut to a electrical box, lender cant close and seller wont fix, Buyer in a uhaul
5. A lender owned property with a pool being serviced by a Field Service company, Pool is green and home was to close last Friday, buyers lender wont close because there is a health hazard.
6. City has red tagged a home 3 times on different repairs so we cant get the utilities on for buyers inspections.
These are just the ones that come to mind immediately but I know trere are a bunch more more waiting on Monday.
