PCSing to the Fort Rucker area? During your relocation to the Enterprise area, your family may need hotel accommodations! One more thing to add to the headache of a military PCS move - finding a PET FRIENDLY HOTEL! While there are several websites that are geared towards traveling with your pet, I have found that the databases for the Enterprise & FT Rucker area to be incomplete.

Since I have a 75 pound lab and can relate to the frustrations of trying to find a hotel or rental house / apartment that are PET FRIENDLY, I have decided to compile a list of Hotels in the Fort Rucker, Enterprise, Daleville and Ozark areas that are PET FRIENDLY. The One-Stop Calling Hotel List will help cut back on your time spent calling all the hotels in the FT Rucker and Enterprise AL area to determine if they accept pets (and long distance charges).

Michelle - I was thrilled to find a pet friendly hotel for my relocation clients and added it to my relo package - great minds think alike - pets are family!

Pet friendly hotels are very important as I had clients relocating to Ft Gordon from DC and had trouble finding a hotel because of their pet.

VIRGINIA: Great Minds we are. I need to get more pictures of the local hotels so I can include them in the post. Do you only have one hotel that is pet friendly in Mesquite? Pets are part of the family. I also keep a box of doggie treats with me that I individually wrapped.

Maire: Finding a hotel that is pet friendly is another thing to do when you are relocating. Having this information on hand helps with you being the subject matter expert on relocations. I need to add: Fort Rucker on-post lodging is pet friendly as well.

Hi Michelle - We have two in Mesquite, one is a casino with one wing of motel rooms, the other is the one I wrote about with studios and 1 bedroom apartments. I think this pet friendly post of yours is brilliant, so many people have to call around and really look into it - you are really providing a service for people looking for Pet Friendly hotels or motels. I would add it to AR channels and create one for 'pet friendly hotels in Fort Rucker.'

Michelle - I would change the channel from Active Rain channel to the Localism channel but leave your description (Fort Rucker Relocation )as it is, or add AL. Localism is where consumers are going to be directed to and I think you will get more views that way.

I left him a comment asking if the channels were meant to be hyper local or broad ie: Fort Rucker Rentals vs Rentals? I guess I was somewhat confused.
