Joan, what a great way to find your way around Amherst New Hampshire- become involved in your new neighborhood's Newcomer's Club. Love your slide show, I need to do this in Forest.
Hi Debbie: Thanks for commenting. I think it is always a bit of a challenge when one moves to a new area. I hope that people will come to this meeting. This is a great way to meet people and to make some connections.
Monika~ Amherst and the surrounding towns are beautiful small New England towns. The Amherst Village is unique and I love to show home in Amherst. It has the best of all worlds. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
George~Good question -- I am going to call them tomorrow and ask! I think men should be able to join if they want... if not, I will see what is going on for men who are moving to the area.
Jennifer ~ I am glad there are club like this for people moving into the area. New England once had a reputation for being sort of "cold" -- and I don't mean the snow. So this is a good way for people to make acquaintances.
Gita~ I thought the slide show would highlight some of the beauty of Amherst and the Amherst Village. If I have some time, I will try to add some slide shows for the surrounding towns as well.
Bill ~ I am going to check for you and George to find out what is available for the guys. It is nice to have a resource like this for people new to the area.
Judy ~ Thanks for taking the time to read this post and comment on the slide show. I hope it gives people an idea of Amherst, New Hampshire.
Hi Joan, What a beautiful place. Were you affected at all by the hurricane that just came up that direction. It is such a shame when all those beautiful trees topple.
Cynthia~ Thanks for the comment. I really like adding the slide show. I am hoping Santa will bring a flip camera and then I will experiment with videos.
Marchel~ We were lucky that the hurricane was not down this way! Amherst New Hampshire is a lovely town -- I think we will be okay till winter anyway (lol).
Hal~ We both share in serving "Hillsborough County". If you get away from Florida to go leaf peeping, you would definately enjoy visiting Amhers, New Hampshire. Hope to see you here for a visit.
Sylvia I certainly do miss the bay area (after having lived there for 28 years). However, New Englad is beautiful -- especially this time of year. The leave are starting to turn colors and it should be a beautiful autumn. Thanks for commenting.
Judy~ The slide show depicting Amherst is great for localism. I actually like it better than a video. Hope you have fun with your next post and that all is going well for you.
Joan ... I have never been to your neck of the woods but it looks beautiful! I like the slide show.... nice marketing. Thanks for stopping by my Libby dog post ...
Sharon~ If you come up to New Hampshire for some leaf peeping, I would love to take you on a tour of Amherst, New Hampshire. I really enjoyed the program on the canine nose. Dogs are truly amazing. We are blessed to have them at our side.
