After the New Hampshire Association of REALTORS convention was over this past Wednesday Jay and I decided to head north rather than south.
The leaves were just starting to turn at the Mount Washington Resort in Bretton Woods NH and we thought that maybe a bit further north they might better.
So, after taking care of business we set the GPS to destination... The Balsams in DixVille Notch New Hampshire.
The ride north was lovey, we chatted quietly as we drove and stopped often to take pictures. We had taken a picnic lunch with us curtesy of the Mount Washington Resort and planned on stopping somewhere along the wasy to eat it.
We ended picnicking up at the golf course at the Balsams. I'm not a golfer so while I have often driven up to the course in the past, mainly to drop Jay off, I have never walked around it.
That day was perfect and Jay took me out on the club house deck where the views were incredible. We took a ton of pictures and just enjoyed being together surrounded by the beauty of our state.
We celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary this month and the real nice thing is that he is still my best friend, my true love and I still feel like a newlywed.
Monika... I stopped by just to make sure who that special guy that you mentioned.. making sure Jay knew about it... lol Seriously, congrats on the 18th anniversary...
Monika - Congratulations on your 18th anniversary! That's wonderful. The photo's you took are simply spectacular. Tell Jay I am green with envy... I would love to be up there playing a round or two.
Hi Monika - what a beautiful day you had for that ride. The Balsams is a very special place and the views from up at the golf course are breathtaking. I remember the first time I went up there, I couldn't believe how on top of the world you feel up there.
Congratulations on your anniversary! We should have had some champagne to toast with while at the convention.
hi Monica, so nice to read "celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary this month and the real nice thing is that he is still my best friend, my true love and I still feel like a newlywed"...
at a time when so many people have trouble lasting beyond 18 months it's reassuring to see this, congrats to both of you!!!
Monika and Jay -- happy anniversary -- my husband and I are going to be celebrating 24 years -- Boy does time fly. I love this time of year. It is so beautiful.
