I went to the Restaurant Festival in West Chester last Sunday, what a fun time. We met alot of local folks and some of the greatest restaurants were represented.
Just to mention a few, Spence Cafe, Avalon, De Stars, Margaret Kuo's, Dippin Dots, Mabels BBQ/Spare Rib, Tecca, Maggie Moo's, Pita Pit, the Blarney Stone, Jimmy John's,and The Whip Tavern. There were more than 100 vendors and crafters on Walnut and High Streets. It was a beautiful sunny day and there were 7 bands playing throughout the day. There were vendors for glasses, purses, jewelry, non profits, it was great. I regret that I wasn't very hungry this year when I went and I also regret not having my camera. I love to take photos becuase it is a good memorable time and it is great to watch people and EAT.
This year I went with my husband.
He is fun to go with because not only does he like to eat but he also likes the art work so he takes his time at the vendors.
Mark the calandar, the 3rd weekend in September. I will be there next year too.
