Not Stuck In An Office, Pinned To The Wall By A Desk...Free To Roam!

Realtors are lucky they are not chained to a desk, and something new happens everyday to make it new, interesting and exciting.

In rural Maine, Joe Broker can head to the woods to look over land with snowshoes...on a clear sunny winter day with clean air, blue skies and beautiful scenery.  We are so lucky to live in four season beauty..the setting is paradise!

Winter afternoon stroll

Walk in the woods

Tramping thru the woods with a helper...

Come on...let's go.

A Maine realtor's day at the office....

Those are some great pictures!  I do like having a job that takes me all over.  I have never been one to be chained to a desk!   By the way the dog is awesome!  Enjoy the snow -- and hopefully, spring is on the way!

We are lucky there is somethign new and different every day to keep us trim, fit and running.  This dog was a friendly one...he was glad for the company on the winter day we tramped in to an unplowed property on 600 acres!

Great pictures... and how wonderful to be working in a active, outdoorsy location!

Thanks!  The white dog's name is Yo Yo...he was glad to have company and was a big help trail blazing into this 600 acre property that had a log home but off off the road!

Hi Andrew,
Awesome photos.  Maine is one of the most beautiful places I've seen, with maybe the exception of the North Georgia Mountains of course (smile).  Maine has the brutal cold in the winter and Georgia has the brutal heat in the summer.  So I've decided on a winter home in Northern Georgia and a summer home in Southern Maine.  Do you think I can pull off a two state career in real estate and still be successful?  LOL
I do so love not being chained to a desk as you put it.  Life is all the sweeter when you're doing what you love.  If you're ever in Georgia give me a buzz and I'll give you the tour.  Happy trails.

Makes me almost wish to live where there is snow.  Almost!  I'll stick with Arizona for now!

Lexa...will keep working on our Vulcan Mind Melt on this end and oh yes...you will want to come to Northern Maine and frolic in the snow..it will happen...(smile)! Been to Tuscon which was pretty nice though!  Andy

cool photos, one of many benefits of this job is seeing incredilble wildlife.  I once wasted an hour watching a bald eagle out in middle of nowhere, I didn't want it to end

Saw a bald eagle "fishing" this morning.  I know what you mean Keith about watching the wildlife. It is a privilege.

Andrew, great photo's and Yo Yo is adorable, I'm sure he loves being outside in the snow.  Maine is one of my favorite vacation spots (love Boothbay Harbor and Bar Harbor), it's a beautiful state.

He is a good dog...we were at a public supper for his master Ian who had Hodgkins cancer and beat it a few years back but the cancer has reappeared.  The Houlton Lodge Of Elks was packed to help raise money for the trips to Boston, etc. Thanks for peeping in!

I always find myself taking the laptop out to the picnic table with the phone nearby. I watch the deer graze and the red tail hawks soar while I read up on land use regulations.

At a recent listing presentation I found myself riding around a ranch with a little lamb.

A  real rural real estate moment.

Beautiful Photos!  I agree with you.  I feel very fortunate to be in real estate and have a real passion for what I do.  The scenery is a true bonus!

Neat to leave comments...but Debbie...had to eject yours as the links to three of your sites in addition to your active rain outlet...kinda missed the point of a comment..food for thought not steerage so blatantly! Have a great weekend folks!
