Love it! How much does something like this go for?

The most recent time I sold it for $150,000 cash in 21 days last September.

Isn't it just unbelievable? When I look at some of the new construction today it makes me sad how much we have strayed from the quality and craftsmanship of the past.

We have homes of distinction in Davenport as well. Yours is a fine example. There are very few curved wrap-a-round porches with the detail of yours. If you remember, I received the Scott County Historical Society's award for the preservation work on your home. You should do a post about it. The most spectacular thing is the unbelievable view of the Mississippi River from it!

Thanks for the great work on the porch. We love it. Haven't had time to actually get a nice swing out there yet, but enjoy the house tremendously. Fell in love with the woodwork inside the first time my wife and I walked through. We really like that the house is out in Walcott, a smaller community, while still being very close to Davenport. We have updates planned for the house, but trying to preserve the feel of the whole place.
