I have to be honest and say I have been shaking my head a lot lately and asking "why"? Wondering "why"? When will it end? When will my head quit spinning from all the lending changes? When will we (or should I say our politicians) be smart enough to remedy the situation before it is completely out of control?
Who is to blame for the housing mess? Realtors - because homes were a hot commodity and buyers were often in a bidding war and paying an overinflated price to get the home of their dreams? Loan consultants -because they had buyers that qualified for mortgages that had loosy goosey qualifying standards? Or, Politicians - because they were professionally advised and blew it off that there was a housing/lending problem that should have been fixed years ago?

With all the finger pointing, when will the politics stop and accountability be a factor for our politicians? This is a critical time. I am afraid of what the next 5 weeks of politics is going to do to the U.S.A.
