Just this afternoon I had a suprise visit from two ladies...(I started off assuming they where lost tourist)...usually I dont accept non appointment callers as it means I have to put another appoinment off or I get waaayyy behind on my "chores" but they apologized so nicely and explained that they had intended to look me up & call the next day, but they had been walking by and just saw my office sign, so decided to come up and say hello, totally understood that I was busy and would come back the next day...of course I made time for some one that considerate & nice and we ended up visiting in the conference room for well over an hour...

I started our conversation explaining how the listing commission structure works, where the market is & why, etc... Rather quickly I began to understand that these ladies had quite a bit of info already, we had a wonderful visit & come to find out both have invested in the area and while one is looking to sell the other is looking to invest more!

So, just for being gracious (on both sides) It looks as if I will receive not only a listing (priced to sell) but also a buyer that understand the market! Very cool!

And I am very jazzed that we have verbal confirmation that our sign works! They recognized it from some info I had sent out...yipee!

FANTASTIC!! Although sometimes it is difficult to drop what you are doing to take care of walk-ins...it sure can pay off sometimes. Like you stressed...their courtesy went a long way with you. Now...you have new clients who are respectful and well-informed. Good luck and GBU!

Trevella . . . . Thank you for your post.  This is quite a period to get through but it will pass. Meanwhile, what do find is the general sentiment with the buyers you encounter on your Island?  Here Its pretty much dead flat but the Buyers are extremely picky and hard to get "on paper."

Aloha
