My Granddaughter made a wish that her Grandpa would take her to the mountain. And her wish came true on Sunday, as Grandma, Grandpa and Lexi went to the trail.

I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I do.

Let me introduce you to Lexi, she is four years old and has more engery than anything I have seen in a very long time!

We were standing on the pier and she was admiring the vast water and checking to see where her Grandpa went without her.

If you looked closely, you could see the small fish in the water.

Hiking time, watch out for the lizzards and snakes!!!

I can see for miles and miles and miles ...............oh yeah!

Just look at what God made!

I am in awe of this beauty. No movie star's beauty could compete with this!!!

Good morning Nancy,

Wow! I had to do a second-take when I saw Lexi! She looks just like MY daughter at that age! How funny...well, they DO say that we all have a "twin" out there...I guess it is true for Lexi! lol

I appreciated the photos you shared with us...they're absolutely fabulous...Business has kept me so darn busy that I haven't had a vacation in over two years...these photos are making me want to go on a camping/hiking trip TODAY!!!! In fact...I might just do that this month...Thanks for the inspiration...we'll see if I can actually take the time off...(I'm not complaining about being so busy either! A squirrel has to collect as many acorns while she can...you never know what type of winter she'll have...)

What beautiful country! I know I am a real city girl....but I do still love the views. Would love to live in the country like this, as long as I can get to shopping in 20-30 minutes.

Nancy your photos are absolutely breathtaking - are you sure you didn't miss your calling of being a photographer?  Your granddaughter is simply gorgeous herself and it sounds like it was a very special day for all of you.  Thank you for sharing more of you with us :) ~ Anne Marie

Anne Marie, my Dad and Uncle were both professional photographers. I have always enjoyed it. My first camera was a Afga 35mm...
