Good news needed and found: A starting point and the savings that can be had as a result. Right now, I am into savings. How about you?
I found this too...perhaps will buy one to check it out. BTW, your new picture makes you look so....serious!
I noticed this also. I always go the the Real Life section first. Much more positive and upbeat than the rest of the publication lately. Did anyone read "Facing Down an IRS Audit" in last month's Realtor? I vowed to never read it again!
That would be a pretty cool closing present for a green oriented client.
Diane~
Just for you...and maybe only for a day..a goofy-green picture =) I was thinking of buying one, too!..same reason
Mark~
I have a hard time getting my brokers to read it...and it may be for the reason you noted. But, like you, I check out that RealLife section ...seems to have good ideas to jump-start my day...
Pete~
I was thinking the same thing. I have created gift baskets with "greenie-stuff" in them...but this might be easier, eh?
How cool is this site! You rock, on a day when all seems lost (can u say bail out? LOL) this put a smile on my face :-)
That is a pretty neat kit and a very interesting site! Should I write to tell them the phrase on the Kit page should be "Put the BRAKES on global warming?" Can't help my proofreading habit...
Its great to see more and more areas going green. Minnesota recently adopted a green building and remodeling certification program.
Beginning with the design process, this system of project verification and certification assures the key components of green techniques and materials through to the final construction. The emphasis on five key components of "green" building systems assures a whole-systems approach:
Thanks for the great "green" blogs!

Hi JaneAnne,
I read about this, but was a bit skeptical. With the bombardment of green products, it's becoming difficult to sift through to the best of them. After checking out the website, AND hearing the offer of an additional $10 off when contacting ActiveRain :-), I can say that the company should get in touch with www.rateitgreen.com to add this product category to its database, so that people have a place to comment on it.

Frances~
Being skeptical is a worthy practice! Like you, I do not believe everything I hear or read...
Thanks for the link! I am heading on over there right now. I wish you a WONderful 2009 =)
