A success plan is often carefully orchestrated. It is done with tedious up-front planning and it is shear hard work. It did not happen unintentionally (for most people!) The rewards are limitless. Only you determine your outcome by how you produce and by what quality you produce. So, are you ready for the success in store for you? [Hint: This might end up becoming your passport ticket to new success. So, you might want to bookmark this page.]
As I have blogged about becoming a well-balanced blogger here on Active Rain, there are some specific tips you can implement to maximize your presence (and points) here.
Each week, you are allowed to post 10 posts for 200 points each. Total here = 2,000 points. If your posts are featured, there are more bonus points for you. If you post more than 10 posts, you will not receive the automatic 200 points, but if these are well-received, you can get additional points. Then, you could comment up to 10 comments on other posts for 25 points each. Total here is 250 points per day, 1,750 points per week. So, you might potentially earn 3,750 points per week (if not more) if you did just these.
Now, to strategically maximize the types of posts, here are some quick suggestions:- 2 - 3 Posts for member benefits/ educational (such as this one)
- 2 - 3 Posts about your specific industry or your niche
(For example:
If you are a real estate agent, you could talk about home-buying/ home-selling tips/ experiences or even your opinions on the housing market in your area.
If you are a mortgage officer, you could discuss the current financial/ mortgage industry
If you are a professional stager, you could showcase your recent works
If you are an escrow officer, you could share what is important in the title commitments, policies that sound very foreign to the rest of us, lay-men
If you are an industry vendor, you could educate/ enlighten us WITHOUT SELLING your products or services) - 1 -2 Post(s) on other information besides real estate. Inspirational, motivational posts or educational posts about growing a business could fall in this category also. Personal rants, or question-styled blogs can be categorized here too.
- 2 - 3 post(s) about specific market reports for your cities, neighborhoods. You could also introduce some highlight communities in your area.
- 1 - 2 post(s) about local businesses/ local area information. You
could write a food review on local restaurants, highlight some of your local
vendors or write about the parks you bring your family too every week.
[Note: These suggestions are placed in the order of importance].
I do think that these suggestions could help you get started. An important note is to maximize points for your blogs, you might want to start writing blogs that are non-area specific. For example, real estate market reports typically do not receive many comments so you may want to do that close to or after you have written 10 good, thought-provoking blogs for maximum scoring. Get ready to read another post that I will release soon, about addictive blogging. I promise it will be another good one you will want to read.
I hope that you will find these tips helpful. Wishing you much success all the way from Frisco, TX.
