Hi Joan, Thank you! Appomattox is a fascinating town. There is so much Civil War history in this area. Since it's so close to Lynchburg, all of the school kids go on field trips to the National Park.

This would be like owning a honest to goodness piece of American history. Such historic a setting, I hope whoever buys it is conscious and respectful of the history. Appomattox, the Civil War, slavery such important, if painful parts of our history.

Rich, the current owners have a lot of photo's and information on the original owners, a photo of the original cabin and I'll be scanning the materials for interested buyers. I know the seller has a lot of respect for the history of this property and they are hoping someone who's interested in the history will be the buyer.

Hi Dale, This is a beautiful farm, I love all of the outbuildings, it's a very charming setting. Neighbors are close by but it's very private. I'd love to see a family buy this place and raise horses. Thanks for stopping by.
