When we were small you probably have heard the saying "If it sounds too good to be true it probably is". I know I heard that one more than once! I recently came across a nice little pickup and responded to the ad that was "Supposedly" local...The first red flag after doing some research was a disconnected phone number in the ad! RED flag number one!
Then when the person finally emailed be back the story goes that they purchased the truck here in the US and then moved to another country and could not register it there because it had California emissions.RED Flag number TWO!! Other countries would probably love a less polluting truck!! California has the toughest emissions in the Country!
So if I just sent the owner the payment for the shipping charges they would ship it right over....AH HA...! The final RED FLAG...yes and they were selling it SO cheap because they couldn't register it in the country they were now in!!
The email said that the tranaction would be handled on ebay if I wanted to purchase it...Yeah right....
The price was about 35-40% below what he other comparable trucks are currently selling for!! The hook....aw ha...
NO fish on this trip MR SCAMMER!!
Be AWARE....if it sounds too good to be true,,,,well you know the rest!
