37 Comments on Are you a Relentless Realtor® ?
Relentless and working smart. There are both sellers and buyer that are unrealistic. This is not a market for every seller and buyer. Those who are relentless will be those who succeed.
Right on, one word um. Charge as in Put Charles in Charge.. We all just have to hang in there and this to shall pass.
"Are you a Relentless Realtor® ?" No, but I'm the proud owner of an official Gators Tee!!!! Woot! WOOHOO!
Thank you so much for sending me that nice gift! I love it! :-)
Christine, that is a great word to use during these times. Keep putting one foot in front of the other, work hard and smarter, get out in the market place, meet people, nothing has changed in how we should grow our business.
Elizabeth- I agree 100% - and I like the men from the boys theory. We will survive !
Cindy- well that made me think...it's Oct 1 today, so I need to get working on my plans and goals for next year too.
Susan- I can't imagine what it would be like to have buyers/sellers with 18% interest rates like in the 80's. You are true proof, that you are relentless!
Matt - ok, you made me go look up that word.... I like that one too!
Joan- I agree, this market is not for every buyer & seller. Recently, I told a seller that he should NOT sell now, and he should wait to see what comes in 2009. I was the only agent that suggested that.
Charles in Charge - I like that!
Brad - :::::: wink, wink ::::::: You're now in the Gator Nation!
Missy - I hear you... here we are Oct 1st, first morning coffee - typing on keyboard and ready to get one foot in front of other today. You are relentless!
thanks again.....and proud of it!! Wink Wink! ;-)
Christine - You have managed to create a "mantra" for many of us. Work hard , work smart and use all of our possible connections. There will be more BAD days then GOOD , but when the pendulum swings the other way , we should all be prepared and learn a valuable lesson for the future
Hey Christine -
Look what I'm sportin around today!
You're the best!! MWA!! :-))
Christine ... thanks for this truly inspiring post!
Christine if you took a look at the profile of most successful Realtors I would have to say that almost all of them are Relentless:)
Brad: Wow, what an Awesome T-shirt. Amazing how the gator nation just grows and grows. Thanks for the photo ! Did you have to "explain" that T-shirt out there on the PAC TEN coast?
Bill : Yes in this business, we must be that way ! Thanks for the tip about outside.in site!
Laura: Glad it give you a new outlook...you are relentless too!
Now you don't think I'd wear it out in public do you! haha!
I don't care what the Pac 10 or 11 have to say, I love sportin my shirt anyway! :-)
Can't believe I missed this the first time around. It's a GREAT word and Bill is right... it describes the most successful real estate agents.
Now I know what the Gator Nation has to do in order to get more fans. . .
Auburn Tiger fans BUY their own shirts! :)
A relentless fan!
Rentless, as in the relentless pursuit of excellence, a slogan of some company in the past but I can't remember who. And a slogan now used by many.
Relentless - as in don't take no for an answer from a Sellers Lender when you know that the Short Sale makes the most sense versus foreclosure.
Thank you Christine. As a new Realtor in this market its imortant for me to hear that Slow and Steady will help me win this race.
@Brad: Did somebody mention Pac10 football? Toby Gerhard deserved the Heisman last season considering he joined LAST PLACE STANFORD team and turned them into a contender.
No worries. College is nice but the Pac10 is all about preparing players for the NFL with the Pac10s pro-style offenses and defenses and passing game. QBs Jack Locker from the University of Washington and Andrew Luck from Stanford will go #1 and #2 in next season's NFL draft.
Margaret - Thanks for taking the time to read it...even though it's an old post - it sure is my daily motto....I will be Relentless.....
Fernando - I'm a War Eagle fan too...born in Opelika, AL while my father graduated from Auburn! I sent Brad that Gator shirt as a "thank you" for his techy help he did for me... We keep trying to spread the Gator Nation!
Tony & Suzanne - AMEN !!
Mary Kay - It's a good business foundation - You are correct!
Robert - I love all college football......BUT this is a SEC ZONE (ha-ha)
I love the passion and comraderie SEC fans have sticking up and promoting each other. The problem with the Pac10 is Cal hates Stanford. UCLA hates USC. Oregon State hates Oregon. I'm one of the few fans of the ENTIRE CONFERENCE.
I'm a big sports fan, so RELENTLESS is one thing we can learn from sports and apply toward our real estate. Thank you for the inspirational blog.
