Maybe you are tired of hearing or reading about this issue, but it is worth repeating. Tomorrow is an important day for our Congressional and Senate Leaders. It is reported that the Senate will vote tomorrow regarding the proposed bailout solution.
Regardless of which side of the fence that you are on regarding this issue, or what your political affiliation is, I encourage you to voice your opinion to your local Congressman and Senator. While I have spent countless years in the business.....some as a commercial banker.....I will not attempt here to persuade you as to how you should view this crisis.
What I can tell you based upon countless business channel interviews with not only political figures, but prominent business leaders, is that the situation is one of the most challenging crisis that we have faced in the last Century.
The survival of our financial system, economy, and the well being of the American public is at stake. While I have issues with the rescue effort, the alternative of doing nothing or spending weeks of political posturing could very likely bring our Nation to it's knees.
Call, write, or email your Representatives.
Let your voice be heard. Our industry and countless others depend upon it.
