MSU National Champions Hat

Congratulations to the Michigan State University Spartans on their third NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey National Championship!  The Spartans came from behind to beat Boston College 3-1 at the Frozen Four held in St. Louis.  The last time Michigan State won the national championship, in 1986, yours truly was a freshman season ticket holder.  Go Spartans!

I'm a Michigan fan but I have to give them their props. The game winning goal being scored with 18.9 seconds left was great.

The goal was scored by a Red Wing draft pick so maybe we'll soon see him at the "Joe" doing the same.

Terry,

It definitely was an awesome hockey game.  There is something about college sports that just can't be beat.  Athletic competition, stripped of all (well, at least most) of the complications of professional sports.  Like the Olympics used to be.

Hopefully we will see Abdelkader putting some pucks in the net for Detroit.  I wouldn't mind seeing Lerg between the pipes at the Joe either.
