Enough Already! - Time To Pay The Piper

I have had it up to here with the grade-school antics of Congress.  Pass a damn bill that bails out the Wall Street dumb @$$#$ and pass it this year.  The bubble has burst; our economy has been coasting along far too long with not much substance to sustain itself and now we've got to pay the piper.

pay the piperWhat's the problem?  She's a Democrat, he's a Republican, and your great aunt's best friend's neice is a Scallywag...who the hell cares!

This has gotten real old real fast and ya'll congressmen and women better poop now or get off the pot.  That ole "lack of bipartisanship" crapola parading as an excuse has gone the way of housing prices and, at this point, what the citizens of the US need from you is for you to do your job.  Remember when you told us -- the taxpayers, the voters, the average Joes and Janes -- that you could do the job better than the other guy?  Remember when you were campaigning so diligently to get the job?  Remember that?

It's all rather simple and anyone with a little common sense could figure out what needs to be done. So, get it together and do what you supposedly do best --  legislate.

I'm done.

Lanette -- I am in total agreement with you.  These people we elected are not looking too good right now.

Lanette,

Why don't you tell us what you really think! LOL.  I hope that Washington will slow down and use some darn common sense.   Oh wait ... "common sense" and "Washington" in the same sentence.  Unlikely.

Preach it!  I am in favor of the bail out plan.  It doesn't solve the problem, but this is an emergency!  It would be like EMTs debating the best diagnosis while a patient is dying in the ambulance... take him to the hospital already!

Lanette, Common sense in Washington on both sides of the aisle is lacking. My advice take down the names of those who say they represent us and then fail to act on our behalf. Then when they run for re-election vote their sorry ass's out.

Oooh, I could go on, but I decided to keep it short, sweet (haha...) and to the point.

Shirley - These people we elected are looking really stupid right now.  They've lost sight of the big picture and can't see the forest for the trees.

Lisa - I had to get this off my chest because I felt like I would explode.

Bob I'm hoping cooler heads will prevail when Congress decides to reconvene...whenever that might be.

Olan - That's a scary yet accurate analogy, that's for sure.

John - Oh, we should all be taking names and kicking @$$#$ -- OUT.  Enough of the dumb stuff.

Angelia - I'm just trying to vent my outrage and affect a change in my own small way.
