The 10 Biggest Mistakes Buyers Make in Today's Market (a series)
MISTAKE NUMBER 5: Assuming That All "Short Sale" and "Foreclosed" Properties are Great Buys.
You know what happens when you ASSUME, right? ASS+U+ME!!! Assuming that All Atlanta "Short Sales" and Atlanta "Foreclosed" properties are "great buys" is definately an example of that.
They are not! I REPEAT, they are not all great buys. From the asking price to the condition of the home, I've seen
countless sales where I scratch my head wondering why someone bought a home when another one, in the same area, and in better condition, sold for less money.
Many buyers out there just don't do their home work and assume because it has the word "foreclosure" or "short sale" attached to it, it must be a good deal. This is why more than ever you need an experienced Atlanta Realtor that is FAMILIAR with foreclosure and short sale processes to be able to protect you and educate you with all the tools you need to make an informed decision.
Disregard the labels attached to the sale of the home and look for the property that best meets your criteria of a good deal regardless of whom the seller or what the circumstances of the property are.
Here are the four other mistakes buyers are making in today's Atlanta Real Estate Market (and other markets too)....MISTAKE 1, MISTAKE 2, MISTAKE 3, MISTAKE 4
