This blog is a follow up to the blog: A Color A Day: Secondary Colors - Part 2 of our game...   I will come back later and add the names, but I've been busy out there working and haven't had time to compile the list.  It will be added later as an edit.

This blog is for those who chose purple.  In case you don't remember, it wasn't about this being your favorite color.  It was about being the color your eye was uncontrollably drawn to.  If you picked it because it was 'your favorite color' this may not apply to you.  Go back and look at the three secondary colors and notice which one you are drawn to.....

Key Words:  Determined, Dramatic, Empowering

Power:  Seeing new possibilities, ideas and strategies

Motivation:  To become more self-powered

"Your search for personal power is certainly no secret.  You are reflective and thoughtful.  Others see you as witty, clever and full of pride, and they are right.  You need to show off your stuff.  You are strong willed.  You know exactly what you want from others.

To say you can't achieve something is to say that you do not have possibilities in life.  Others turn you on when they challenge you.  It makes you work even harder.  Your sense of drama wins people over.  You are a great motivator.  Your enthusiasm creates endless possibilities.  You see significance in things that others miss.  When your goal is defined, you are a leader and people are willing to follow you."

This information is based on the book by Dewey Sadka, Embrace the Hue you are.  You can also learn more information about your color selections (main colors and color combinations) and how they relate to your business and professional life by picking up the book or taking a Dewey Color Course.

Dewey Sadka profile: With his intuitive people skills and motivational ability, he created a multi-patented system that is now the world's first scientifically valid, color-based personality test.

Why you should know about color:

When a person surrounds themselves with their preferred colors, they are in fact subconsciously encouraging their hopes and aspirations. Non-preferred colors irritatingly give them the courage to see what they have a tendency to avoid.

Classes begin in Charleston, SC January 2009!

Ok, I need to change my secondary vote to purple - this is me exactly, it's actually very scary, especially the description of response to a challenge!!

Wow, this is dead on for me!  Although, my kids may beg to differ on my sense of drama winning them over! : )

Wow, this is cool Melissa.

Kathy we were exactly the same for both colors, no wonder I like you :)

Thanks for the fun!

Heather that is too funny!  I guess it makes sense though; "like attracts like". : )

Diane - curious, did you choose the other primary color because 'you've always liked it' or because you were drawn to it?

Kathy - kids are never willing to let us win by our charms alone.... lol...

Heather - finding a personality twin huh?

Heather & Kathy - now will you still be alike on the last set of colors?

Hi Melissa, I do like green, when looking at them I actually thought to myself it would be easier if they were farther apart, I was drawn to both green and purple - probably because I do like green, even after submitting my initial choice I really thought about changing it to purple but didn't b/c I was being stubborn!

LOL!!! Makes perfect sense! Whenever I mention to my honey that I don't know where my daughter gets her "drama queen" nature, he rolls his eyes! Just read my posts; I can make a trip to the mailbox into a drama! Looking forward to meeting you EVEN MORE, Melissa!

My first was blue, and now purple. Really insightful - looking forward to finishing your game, and reading the book.

I chose red the first time around I am now trying to catch up. Haven't been able to check in the last couple of days. This is interesting.
