Okay, here we are and I’m sure we’re all thinking “What’s going on out there? One day we have a bailout, next day we don’t and then just when you thought it was over “Kidding!” We have one again!”
What does this mean to you as a Realtor though? Have you thought about this?
The better question would be “Have you thought about this and how are you responding?”

I’m not going to get political and talk about “They did this” or “They should have done that”. It’s not what I do.
What I do is focus on is WHERE WE ARE, WHERE WE’RE GOING AND WHAT STEPS WE NEED TO TAKE TO GET THERE!
Sound Simple? It is! I just always remember

The market is what it is. Nothing you can do or say will change this. In any business you either adapt or perish. Now then, saying this, it is also important that you adapt FORWARD! What does THAT mean?
It means that you need to affiliate and differentiate!
Ask yourself :
Does your company do business with the same old MO, and if so how is that benefitting you NOW?
How do you differentiate yourself from your competition?
How is your company supporting YOU? What kind of partnership are you in? Is it mutually beneficial?
Do you grow on a daily basis? Are you surrounded with peers that are in the same boat as you but always have a smile on their face?
Has your company provided you with Personal Coaching to guide you through these uncertain times, and if so, are they making a profit off of you, or do they invest in CERTIFIED TRAINERS AND COACHES at no cost to you?
Are they still stuck in the 20th Century and pushing letter writing campaigns and the like? Don’t misunderstand me, I love to write, which is why I blog, but are they recommending you stay with the Pony Express when the rest of the world is moving forward on Lear Jets?
What is their track record? How long have they been in business, and even more important than that is, have they not only SURVIVED in this kind of market, but actually THRIVED? That’s the difference between looking at the bottom line vs. looking at a partnership with its agents!
In times like this now, in the past and I’m sure in the future, we need to think about how we are going tackle the situation. Create a strategy that works for you and then move forward full speed ahead!
Affiliate with likeminded people.
Think outside the box.
Create opportunity where the rest of the world says there is none, and call me for a confidential interview to discuss this further!
