The city's bicentennial celebration will start with The Harvest festival Oct. 17-18 at Gateway Park in Travelers Rest. Come join in the fun at the Harvest Festival. Lots of food and fun activities will be available. The City Of Travelers Rest is working very hard to promote the new look for the city. A great deal of planning has been done by the city. There are new businesses building in the city. One of the newest stores Walgreen's just opened across from Wal-mart. The city has come a long way with the new walking and biking trails that connect with Greenville. There are new businesses building on Main Street.
