Colton Draw Guard Station

We made a visit to the Colton Draw Guard Station in the Ashley National Forest where the house is rented out to vacationers. It has not been used as a Guard Station for a long time. It is north of Vernal on our beautiful mountains.

It is a nice house with running hot water, toilet, stove and beds. We had a wonderful time. It was a fun adventure and I am we will do it again. colton draw sure colton draw sign

Hi Carol- Nice photos, looks like Oregon. And the house reminds me of a cabin I spent a weekend in when I was a Girl Scout many years ago. But that was in CA. Thanks for the pics!

I wish I had not been busy and able to go. My birthday party was nice though and worth missing the camping this time.
