Homes are selling in Bucks County, Pa. There are qualified buyers looking to take advantage of low interest rates and incentives for First Time Buyers.

If you are looking to list your home , this is a good time to list. Buyers looking to buy are serious buyers and not just lookers.

The most important thing to do is to Price  it right. You will get maximum showings in the first couple of weeks that it is listed . Though you can always reduce the price later, it is not the same and you will lose marketing time.

You may want to interview three agents and choose the one who you are comfortable with.

Check out their web sites and ask for their marketing plan. Anyone can put a sign in your yard and hope someone will sell it. You need a pro active agent . Check references and ask your friends who sold recently for a referral. It is important to pick an experienced agent.

Gita - Proper pricing is an absolute must when the market is as weak as it has been. There are not too many folks who will over pay for a home today.

Dan, Thanks for stopping by.

Bill, Buyers will not over pay and it will not appraise even if buyer makes an offer that is more than market value.

Good advice, Gita! An overpriced home WILL NOT sell in this market!

Coeur d'Alene, Idaho - City by the LakeGita, Very good advise.  Overpricing a home just means taking much less later on... than if it had been priced right to start with!
