I am so excited about what is happening in the home staging industry.  Coming from a Real Estate background, most all of my early-on posts when first joining Active Rain were dedicated to empowering Realtors and Home sellers on the value of home staging.

Well, by George, I think they've got it!

The last week in September was exceptional for me and Peachtree Home Staging.  We staged 2 vacants that really makes the point!

First we staged a small renovated home in Atlanta that's listing for $150,000 -- just precious

Then we had the pleasure to be selected to stage a renovated exclusive estate home located in the Buckhead area of Atlanta, just 16 miles away.  This beautiful estate home is listed for $2,699,000

What a week!  I'll be posting more photos soon!

No doubt about it . . . Home Staging is for everyone!

Congrats Karen!  You did a wonderful job, both rooms look very nice. I love the rattan ottomans/table stoops in the first picture~

Karen ~ Good for you! Love the three basket/tables in the first picture.  The estate picture looks like it is a beautiful home.  The details in that one picture alone are wonderful; can't wait to see more!

Glad to hear they are "getting it" in your area! I just had a discussion with a realtor this week who commented that they could see the value in staging a high priced home, but didn't see the necessity on a lower priced property. You make the point so well--any property, regardless of price or size can benefit.

I love what you've done, Karen.  I especially liked the sun room area as it looks so inviting.

Hi Tosha -- check out Big Lots for the rattans -- they are awesome -- 3 in a row make a cocktail demo ; or a sunroom or a footer at the bed -- I find endless uses for them.  Make great night stands as well if need be.  They work in high end homes and low end so I LOVE THEM TOO!

Hi Linda -- Well I agree that they do not all get it and we are not completely there yet, but there is a difference here from this time last year; so that's a good thing. Keep on staging it forward!

Hi Shannon, thx so much -- I will post more.  The estate is 10,000 square feet and wedid key rooms that included, the foyer, the formal living room, formal dining room, great room, kitchen and breakfast room, guest bedroom, master suite, guest bath, and master bath.  Lots of fun as it is casual versed ornate in style.  That really is apparent in the formal living room picture above -- it's almost half sun room in appearance.  It is very family conducive.

Beautiful, love the grasses in threes on the coffee table. And the gorgeous view you highlight out the windows.

Hi there Terrylynn -- always wonderful to hear from you!  best comment as I have to agree -- the grasses are awesome as this room is half living room; half sunroom -- what to do; what to do.  Whoa!  it worked!

thx, Karen
