What they do!

Persistence is the only thing that stands between the successful and the unsuccessful. No matter what you do for a living, if you take the time to look around and just see which companies are doing well in your field you will notice that ONE of the things they do well is being very persistent in everything they do. To make anything work you should be persistent and consistent. Hope this helps, and good luck at what you do. Chuck.

Good idea! I'm going to see just how many points I can accumulate in one day by being persistent and consistent!

Persistence and riding out the Storms of Life are key to survival and to growth in your individual work place environment. My life is a classic example of this! At 27, I had spent 2 summers in a row without work for 3 months each period. I had no clue what I was going to do with my life! The only thing I knew was that I had $2500 coming to me which was from my Dad's settlement/estate - and I knew that was going to disappear fast! I had failed my phase 1 course in real estate 2 times before. I had worked all summer in 05 edging a golf course in the blazing hot sun - one of the hottest summers I remember! I took that $2500 and went back to real estate school and enrolled in my phase 1 course. This time I passed - the end of September, and in October i went to Real Estate phase 2 school in Windsor - found a place to stay for 2 weeks, I passed that course, and then went on in November to do a Phase 3 commercial to get my Real Estate license. I passed with flying colours! In less than 3 months i had my courses together for my real estate license. I started selling real estate at the end of January 2006 and I haven't looked back! The Real Estate Market is very challenging and there are more agents in my market than marketplace! But I know and am convinced the longer I cement my roots and continue on my advertising and marketing, the more people will say - that TREVOR BARR - i see him all the time with advertising to my house - I am going to use his services!!!

Keep persevering!

All I have to do is check my snail mail each Thursday to see persistency and consistency. I get seven flyers from pizza companies, all within two miles of me. I live near San Diego State University, where, as with all colleges and universities, pizza is king, queen, prince, princess, duke, and duchess.

People continue to say that junk mail doesn't work, but it does if you are persistent and consistent. I can vouch for that in my own home inspection business and that of many others.
