Deciphering Good From GREAT!

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Move, Inc., / realtor.com

How would you decipher good from great in your job?  Here's how I would compare the two within my real estate virtual assistant workplace:

  1. A Good Virtual Assistant will do the task as expected.  A Great Virtual Assistant will go the Extra Mile
  2. A Good Virtual Assistant will finish their projects by the time they promise.  A Great Virtual Assistant will finish by the time they promised and check their work!
  3. A Good Virtual Assistant will use the tools given to complete their project.  A Great Virtual Assistant will have other tool options ready to use that will save the client time/money.
  4. A Good Virtual Assistant will do what they are told.  A Great Virtual Assistant will suggest alternative methods that can save the client time/money.
  5. A Good Virtual Assistant will round up their hours of pay to every 15-30 minutes.  A Great Virtual Assistant will not round up at all!
  6. A Good Virtual Assistant will work for you as expected.  A Great Virtual Assistant will work for you as if your business is their own.
  7. A Good Virtual Assistant will use the same tools used for years.  A Great Virtual Assistant will constantly be looking out for new tools for their clients to use that will save them time/money.
  8. A Good Virtual Assistant will agree with the choices you have made in what business tools you have in place.  A Great Virtual Assistant will tell you the truth.
  9. A Good Virtual Assistant will be consistent in their work.  A Great Virtual Assistant will excel in all that they do.
  10. A Good Virtual Assistant works hard to achieve a great business for herself.  A Great Virtual Assistant works hard on all her aspects of life, which includes her business and yours too.

I strive to be a Great V.A.!  I am proud of who I am and what I do.  I'm thrilled to have the clients I have and the work that they provide me with.  I am also honored to be a part of their business and making a difference in their success!

Make it a GREAT day!

Great post Suzanne!

I'm always answering blog posts from people who want to know how to tell the difference between a good VA and a great VA, and I struggle to describe the difference to them.  I won't struggle any longer; I'll point them to your blog post.

Good job, Suzanne; keep up the good work!!
