Sarah Palin Visits Naples

binoculars Although she'll be pretty hard to spot Sarah Palin will be in Naples Florida on Monday October 6th. She will be making two fundraising stops here on part of her first campaign tour of Florida. She will be at an event at the Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club. Later she will be at a private reception in Port Royal.

Palin will also be making an appearance at a rally at Florida Gulf Coast University, Alico Arena. More on the story

Vice Presidential Candidate Joe Biden was in Sarasota and Ft. Myers in September.

Ahh " the OC" I will for sure! I have fantasies of moving there myself someday. It has the art I love the location, amazing, the water .... My husband lived for a bit in Laguna. Thanks for the nice comment.

Shannon, how fun!! I don't think we will be seeing many candidates visiting here in Texas.

Hi Marchel Yes I will be doing an Open House literally walking distance from the Hotel and Beach Club when she's in town - think she'll stop in??? No I don't think many candidates will be visiting you there in Texas - bummer. We'll I'll let you know if she stops in :-)

Just read a few of your blogs---many interesting topics! You have a way with words...if you see Sarah Palin will you please tell her I said Hi...sorry couldn't help myself. It comes from living in Massachusetts all those years! (where being cynical is a way of life). Keep smiling!

P.S. I would LOVE to move to Naples but hubby probably won't be swayed.

Hi Rose Thank you that is very kind. I'm glad you find it interesting. I have a lot of interests so I like to share them. I have a hard time just sitting still.... I am doing an Open House near the Beach Club so maybe Sarah will stop in... you never know? LOL - I will tell her hi ... well if you can't talk him into giving up the snow maybe just a trip down here now and then .... it would be a start - grouper sandwiches on the water sound ok? Let me know when your coming! You could bring me some apples!
