I cannot think of a SINGLE valid reason that your 4th quarter production of 2008 can't be your BEST quarter of the year.

This is your chance to show the real estate world what you're made of . . .

and it all begins with LEAD GENERATION.

If you will commit NOW to 3 solid hours of lead generation every day, I am certain you will have a STRONG year end and will have great momentum through the winter months.

Remember that October 31 marks the beginning of the 4 1/2 month "REALTOR Winter Vacation" - Most REALTORS can think of a thousand reasons not to work their businesses during this "Holiday Season" . . . Thanksgiving, Christmas (or other traditional holidays), New years, then the cold winter . . . all ending for the advent of the Spring market in mid March at which point the "average REALTOR" comes out of hibernation and re-opens the business.

YOU, my friend, are not the "Average REALTOR" . . . and so I suspect that you'll start showing up at the daily SPRINTS (Power Hour) sessions every morning at 8:30 so as to gobble up all of the "Orphaned" Buyers and Sellers in your city whose REALTORS have fallen into deep slumber.

I'm looking forward to hearing your results as you track your numbers from and witnessing the most productive December that you've ever had . . . be sure to be standing here with us to celebrate our success in 2008 as you continue to lead generate your way into a highly successful 2009.

Barry - that' encouraging! I am sure you are right - winter may be the best season for those who don't go to the longest vacation. Will be glad to report. Personally, I love these months - they are usually very good for me. Hope, this year will not change the pattern

Great post, and yes, 3 hours every day spent right will bring in results. Unfortunately with marketing and advertising changing so fast, it is hard to know what works and what doesn't

Thanks Barry.......A few weeks ago I started feeling sorry for myself (not my usual mode of operation), then I realized; If you come in to the office at 10:00 and leave at 3:00, you are NOT going to be able to make a living.  This is not a part time job.  There is plenty to do between 8:00 and 10:00 that doesn't involve calling people.  Do your paperwork, review the mls, do your blogging, update your market stats, prepare for your open house, etc, etc, etc.......Thanks Barry!!!

Thanks Barry! You are right on target.  I think if we could persuade agents to prospect any hours per day as long as they did it EVERY day, the world of RE would be a lot more wonderful than it already is.

Barry, like I told my daughter I can negotiate with a bank-put a listing agreement together-close another-contact my sellers and acknowledge one or two of my fellow Realtors all within an hour and a half but my real job is to lead generate.
