How many are watching the show "The Survivor"?  I think the country leaders are on an island, the island of the US people.  So lets see how the game would work.  First you put our top leadership on the island, you have 2 tribes, the dems and the repubs, now Jeff will be played by Bush. Course Jeff is much cuter and probably a lot smarter when it comes to survivor. So Let the games begin.  Only problem is that they are playing for our survival and if they don't come up with the right strategy we are going to be voted out,  we the people..... How would you play the game to of survival?

I think you hit on something very intersting. Our politicians are treating this situation like Survivor, they're looking to see how they can stay on "the island" rather than how they can help end this banking crisis. Take a look at my blog and see my proposed bailout plan!

AJ, interesting analogy but one that rings very true and you are correct in your assessment that it is our survival which is at stake.  I am curious though as to where you would place the candidates' running mates in this scenario?  Looking forward to watching their debate tonight.

Vickie, I too am looking forward to seeing how the second in command might do.

Joe - It is our survival that is at stake, if they screw this up we can get banished to the other islasnd. Our families, our friends, our country are all needing to win in survivor.
