I Love Naked........TREES

This is what I saw on my morning walk...naked trees but not for long.

Bare treesBare trees with no leavesJust look at the character of these trees. You can see the strength, you can see the skeleton, you can see the trunk, even the age. When they are in full flower or covered with leaves, all this strength is hidden.

Most people think trees are much prettier in the spring and summer. To them, bare trees are cold, dark, and lifeless. They do not see the beauty in the bareness, or the promise that lies within the wrinkled and peeling bark. I see potential and promise, that even in the darkest days of winter, life persists in the strong heartwood at the core.

bare tree I love the absolute beauty of naked trees. Spring is bursting forth everywhere around me now, and these beauties will soon be covered with their green summer clothing. I'll be grateful for their shade in a few months, but I'll also look forward to seeing them stand proud and naked next fall.

Where do you find beauty?

I also love naked trees!  Our don't lose the leaves for long here in Houston but I love them naked and I am always happy to see them garbed.  I grew up in Kansas and we didn't have a lot of trees so I truely enjoy living somewhere where we have an abundance.  Although pine trees and sweet gums do seem to have their downsides in pine needles and the ball that falls off of the sweet gum tree but I still love looking at them.

Beauty is abound and all around especially when we open our minds to what The Creator has created.

I love naked trees as well. Winter and Fall are the most beautiful times of the year. But our right.... Not for long. The frost here in TN. Took all of the new blooms and sprouts but all will be back in full bloom in a couple of weeks.

That is something we do not see much of in Hawaii unless the tree is dead.  It is green here year round.

We seldom see bare trees in this part of Florida, so I particularly like our plumeria or frangipani tree. It is naked in the winter, and sometimes the beautiful flowers come out before the leaves - magnificent. We like to take our evening walk and count the new buds and watch them grow into flowers.

Aziz, You are so right.

Glenn, You can enjoy the naked trees a bit longer.

Randy, That is one thing you don't have. No naked trees. Enjoy your green!

Sharon, Sound pretty neat, seeing flowers before the leaves. Got a picture??

Thanks, Ray.

Margaret, when you called my 800 number you were supposed to put in the extension CGIC or 2442, but if for some-reason you just listened to the message that comes on that asks you to put in the extension number, you would get a long recording about whatever, I use that for training,( interesting you would not know to put in the extension number), you obviously do not have one, and I am sure your phone-message needs dusting off a little, so you can call it again and do it the right way, or continue along doing things the same old way, like I said, 99% will just shine it on, and this is basic city 101, you have problems here-there is always that fast food industry calling you, no disrespect, I call em as I see em, maybe I'm just making this kind of stuff up !!  Good Health & Much Success to ALL---CG
