Governor Palin did not commit any of the mistakes that many anticipated.  She did well and held her own with Senator Biden.  She appeared much more prepared for these debates when compared to her recent television interviews.   Biden held himself back and did what he needed to do without attacking Palin or coming across with a condescending attitude.  Both spent most of their time attacking their opponent's Presidential nominee rather than each other. Those of us watching the debate saw a distinct difference in the delivery of each Vice Presidential nominee.  It could be described as Mid-West vs East Coast.  My perception is that this debate was a draw.  Neither individual won and neither lost the debate.  The campaigns go on.  Who do you think won the debate?

I think Gov. Palin did much better and lived up to her true self.  I don't think Senator Biden came across as being himself.  With this packed house and the points she stuck him on, this was a chance for the Biden that we know to sock those zingers right back at Palin.  We didn't see that.  Has he become someone he's not?  I thank you for the post and your opinion.

Sarah hands down. It's already being said that Biden made several mistakes.

It was one of the most cordial debates that I've ever seen. I think both did well but Palin proved her critics wrong by coming across as strong and confident.

I am with Teresa.  Sarah won hands down but they both did well in many ways.

HI STEVE!

She appeared more prepared because they've had to COACH THE HECK OUTTA HER!!  Why do people always want to see a knock-down/drag-out?  Must everyone attack just because the other opponent wants to play dirty?

Anywho, I usually don't comment on political goo-garb, but I couldn't resist this one!!  Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Sarah won, but really had to work hard to beat the odds , which is why I lke her and one reason why I will vote McCain / Palin.

Steve, I'm giving the nod to Palin.  Biden's answers were "Senatorial" and that's not always a good thing for the American public. I forget who said it but it's true, Governors, like Presidents, make decisions...Senators make speechs. She connected with people, he glazed eyes over all over the country.
