We were all new to AR at one time and it's a good thing.  My advice to you is just read other Blogs and you will get some great ideas.  I think a GREAT Blog to read is Tomato Blogging Coach by Justin Smith.  

Hi Mandy - I would recommend just writing a little something about yourself and your business in order to prime the pump a bit.

I tend to do stream of conscious stuff, whetehr it's a business subject that I am involved with, what I am cooking or doing that day or anything else.  To me, it's just important to do it on a daily basis.

Write about things you know and are passionate about.  Other than localism topics, I write about saving money on various websites using promo codes  and I share the codes. I also write about the local animal shelter and other places I volunteer.

Mandy, I'm in your shoes.  Waiting for that inspiration to hit me.  In my past life living on the road I communited with family members via email.  Always about something funny or interesting about the trip or the folks I meet.  So that's probably where I'll start - humor.  Until I strike it rich selling real estate, of course.  Then I'll probably just talk about my self and how good I am (NOT).
