I've been using Visual Tour for about 4 months now. I've only used them for listings but finally started looking outside the box. I have a buyer that decided to purchase a new construction spec home. They are a military family relocating to Goose Creek, SC to be stationed at the Naval Weapons Station. Most of their family is out of state and they mentioned they didn't think their family would be able to visit for a
while. During their home inspection, I took my camera to the house and created a visual tour of the house and emailed a link to them to check out "My New Home." I told them they could share it with their family and friends to show them the home they purchase. I also promised that after they get settled in and decorate, I'll come back and do it again so they can share it again. Within 2 hour of getting the email, they sent a mass email out to their family, friends and coworkers and I had 20 hits on the tour. The best part is the tour of course has my
name and contact info on it. Guess who will be the point of contact for their co-workers relocating to Charleston. I was excited about seeing the hits so I went back the last few months and offered the same to my clients that bought a home. The email when something like this:
Hope you are doing well in your home and hopefully settled by now. I just got some new software that allows me to do a virtual tour. I'm offering this to my clients and thought it would be a fun way to share photos of your new home with family and friends that haven't seen it yet or unable to visit. It's also a great way to document your house for insurance purposes also.
You can check out the examples on my website at My New Home. If you would like for me to come over and do one, let me know. I'll also make a copy of it on a CD for you so that you can put it in a safe place in case you ever have to make an insurance claim. Look forward to seeing you soon!
I've already got an appointment set up next week to meet with a past client to do a tour of their home. It's a great way to connect with past clients and also get their help in tapping into their sphere as well as stand out by adding a useful service to buyers to make you memorable. Then they will refer clients to you on purpose! It's also a great way to help military families moving keep their extended families involved. Since buyers seem to be gold these days, what are you doing to get referrals from your buyers?

This is a fantastic idea! How do you plan to turn the leads (hits on your website) into sales? I visited your website and you don't ask for contact information to enter the site to see the photos. Will you be calling them or sending an e-mail - how will you capture this data?
I'm asking because I'm a Mortgage Broker in Idaho and Washington. I put a flier together once and my clients LOVED when I called them up and asked to stop by and take a photo of them in front of their house (in total, I took photos of 12 families, only 5 made it into the flier). I published the flier, which was pretty, but didn't generate any solid leads.
I'd like to hear how you plan to capture the data so you can turn them from someone just browsing your website into a sale.
