Well, the big weekend is done and tomorrow the grind resumes. The last few days were packed with important tidbits.
Our only son thinks ham is an Easter tradition at our house when I rarely have cooked hams for Easter, maybe a dozen in my whole life. I don't know where the "ham" tradition idea came from. Maybe he's confusing with the in-laws who have ham every Christmas!
Point 2 Agent websites have a great auto fill to add your house listing to Craig's List. Point 2 has designed the website with an interface that automatically copies text from the Point 2 Agent handshake listing during input and pastes it to the Craig's List ad. The down side of this is my beautiful, gorgeous Point 2 ad was deleted by others on CL twice. The first time I thought maybe I had some borderline terminology (quiet neighborhood referring to traffic patterns) so eliminated it all and reposted. The second time it was booted off, I went to the help forum and found other Point2 users had been booted as well. Why? Because CL is for consumers, not professionals and the beautiful Point2 ad was too professional looking. Talk about member driven policing.
It's good to take a day off now and then.
Waiting 7 days to find out if your son gets the perfect house is taxing! The stomach butterflies are doing jumping jacks.
There are only 7 days until tax day! Hurry if you're not done yet.
The one New Year's resolution I have not forsaken is my commitment to rub the dog's belly once a day. This one practice alone may keep me sane in a business that seems increasingly insane!
I worked twice as hard for lower commissions during the feeding frenzy (sellers' market). For every buyer, at least 2 if not as many as 6 offers had to be written before one was accepted. Now that the buyers are in control of the market, I'm working twice as hard for lower commissions again. Now BUYERS are choosing to pass on houses if they don't get every concession that they ask for. They know there's a seller down the street that will give them what they want! So once again more than one offer is being written per buyer!
My family likes deviled eggs! I've never made them before for the family and they ate them all!
Never turn your back on the Bloggoddessbroker of Minnesota. If you do she will eat away at your point lead until she once again retains the Minnesota blog queen position!
Ah, so tomorrow, reality returns and the grind begins. But I return to work a wiser woman!

Wiser, and I hope, rested from your day of R&R! Keep rubbin that dawgie's belly. A moment of serenity every day.
Lisa, The dawgie's belly is the most persistent and consistently sought task (from his perspective). The nose goes under my arm and lifts it from the keyboard if I don't pay attention! Our best time is the only time he is allowed in our bed, after my husband leaves and before I rise. He lays down in the empty but warm side, rolls over and makes a muffled "hrmph" or sigh sound depending on his mood. That belly rubbing time is the perfect start of a day. Even my grandbaby (15 months) got the privilege this weekend. Now I would have been a bit more cautious about letting her so close to my tender belly, but the dog had no trouble! He's such a lush! ;-)
Jeff, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one writing lots of offers!
T, your routine makes me tired just thinking about it!
Jay, the only thing I'm missing is those beautiful graphics you guys do! I can't believe they're done in Word!
