Colony Lake is located east of Chapel Hill near Eastgate Mall, the new home of Trader Joes and Starbucks. This neighborhood has single-family homes and townhouses. These are smaller, affordable homes located on small lots. There is a nice, non-recreational, lake in this neighborhood. Some houses and townhouses line the lake.
