There is more to the Mississippi Gulf Coast than Highway 90/Beach Boulevard. Personally, I am drawn to the Highway 90 strip of beaches. I love walking the marinas and piers and chatting with folks I encounter on my walks.  The "nod of the head", slight wave, quick greetings, make my day. ...Civility, reminiscent of the "promenade" of the past.

For instance, the other day this local citizen allowed me to photograph him casting a net for crabbing or catching mullet. He asked me what it was for and I told him I was a REALTOR and that I posted local shots on the Internet to give help give people an  idea of what it is really like to live here.

That same day I learned from other fishermen in passing that Sheepshead is good to eat but hard to clean.

If you arrive early enough in the morning, and if you are lucky--you may get to watch porpoises.

I am often drawn North of I-10 scouting for buyers. North of I-10 has its own beauty and mystique.

My secret is out. You must know by now that I am totally hooked on the MGC bird life. Note in the far horizon are the barrier islands.
