Success is defined at least by one source as "the achievement of something desired, planned or attempted" and by another source as "an event that accomplishes its intended purpose".
Which means that more likely than not, we have many successes per day that we do not recognize. Instead we take daily accomplishments for granted.
We need not do that for our spirit would appreciate the celebration of a little more success in our our lives. Consider this........
As you plod down the stairs and stumble to the fresh brewed coffee, is it not a success that you are awake and partaking in the aroma and pleasure of a steaming brew. Ahhh! Yes, Success!
As you walk through the doorway of your office and touch your keyboard to begin the day, is it not a success that you chose to begin instead of allow gravity to hold you in bed? Yes! Success!
As you pull into the driveway of your first listing appointment of the day, is it not a success that you made it there in one piece, with all your materials AND a good attitude? Yes! Success! Success!
As you write up the contract, check it twice, and realize that you have it correct in every way is that not a success? Yes, indeed! A BIG Success!
As you answer a rookie's question and see the smile on their face and the light bulb go off above their head...it is Success! Eureka! Success! Success!
And at the end of the day, when the deal didn't close and you are starting over again, realize that you are still on the journey of success.......some journeys take longer than others, but Success can be yours!
It's all in the way you look at it!
