Have you discovered Google Notebooks yet? It is a very effective FREE tool that Google offers to help you organize all your online research, notes, comments and articles.

You can save so much time when you are online by using Google Notebooks. All you have to do is set up a Free Google Gmail account. Once you are on your Google page, just click on the Google items you can add. You will see Google Notebook listed.

Google notebook works best with Firefox as your browser. There is an addon you can use and it will create a notebook icon at the bottom of your browser. Then all you have to do is click on the icon and it will open up a small mini page.

You can open up Google notebook into a full page to work in the application. I do a lot of research online and I keep track of it very easily by adding my clips to Google Notebook.

You can organize your clips and use different sections. Name your notebook. I do alot of research on natural health so I have a notebook named, Natural Health. When I am online and find an article with information I am looking for, for instance, natural detox, I will just click on the little notebook add on at the bottom right of my browser and click on, CLIP, and what I want will automatically be clipped and placed in my Google Notebook.

If you are not that great at organizing all of your notes, not to worry. You can use the search feature to search for any clips you have in your notebook. You can have as many different notebooks as you like. This is such a timesaver. You can add notes right in your clippings. You can also add labels.

Sharing with collaborators is another great feature you can use with Google Notebook. You can choose who you want to share your notebook with and add them to your list of sharing. You can also publish your notebooks to the internet. When you publish the notebook it is given a URL that you can just email to your friends or family members.

If you want to show your team members research online regarding different websites that you are putting your profile for the team on you could clip the profiles you are filling out, the comments you made and the parts of the site that your team members will need to understand and then save them in the notebook. Then you could share this notebook with your team members and they could all see the same thing online.

There are so many uses for Google Notebook from business uses to personal uses. Let's say you are researching your family tree with your family. You could start a notebook, publish it online and add the research to the Google Notebook so that all your family can see your progress and they can add notes to your notebook.

Tell your kids about this program. This is a great tool for research for school projects, research papers and dissertations.Teachers can use this to research a subject and gather the information, clip it for use with your students instead of saving the sites as bookmarks.
