Hey! There's NudiOnTheBeach!

By
Real Estate Agent with TOVIJE Enterprises, Inc.

Anyone who knows me would say that I invite constructive criticism and welcome subjects to debate, even if they are personal. I am open minded and can generally see the other person's perspective and will consider their viewpoint openly, but there are some comments worth slamming the door on......perhaps you'll agree.

If you've read my blog before, you may have seen that my blog spot is entitled Blogs by: NudiOnTheBeach. This is also my email address and somewhat of a "branded" tag line in my marketing pieces and the local newspaper articles that I write.

I've been told that I shouldn't use that "dreadful description", because it doesn't portray a good professional image. This insightful tip was provided by a self proclaimed marketing GooRoo (not guru...GOO-ROO!) for the betterment of my professional persona!

Well here's what I have to say about that............

To begin with, anyone who knows me, can attest to my professional persona, in fact, you can size my professional persona up in about 2 seconds after meeting me. It's a size large on heart and soul and a size small on ego.

Secondly my name is Nudi and I'm very proud of that name. I had to marry to get it and I'm keeping it!

It's a proud and memorable Italian name. (It is pronounced New-dee, not Nuddy or New-dye ) My creative bone tells me to use my marketing tools to their highest and best use. My name is one tool that I choose to set me apart.

Now, I moved to Englewood, Florida to be on the beach....and I am. SO THEREFORE, I am NudiOnTheBeach! I live the beach, I sell the beach and for me, life is just a beach. Most everyone in town knows me by my face and my email address.....they might not be sure of my first name, but I get, "HEY! It's NudiOnTheBeach !!" at most any event I attend!

So, Ms. GooRoo, I think the plan is working...and SO THEREFORE, I remain NudiOnTheBeach!

I don't think anything is wrong with it and it is definitely catchy.  The people that are telling you it isn't professional are probably jealous because they can't come up with a good marketing slogan for themselves.  I would keep it.  SC

What a great combination - your name and the area you specialize in all in a short, memorable slogan with a little humor thrown in! It's creative and unique, instantly setting you apart from the pack.

I'm sure you have a long list of satisfied clients who would refute the GooRoo's advice. Maybe they were attracted by your branding, but they've stayed because of your professionalism and results.

If I were looking for someone to help me buy a house  in Florida, I would definitely look for a NUDIONTHEBEACH!!! I think it is an awesome way to market yourself!! Making yourself different from others, and then exceeding their expectations will help you grow your business to great extremes. keep up the good work and have fun!!! If you are not doing wht you love....do something else!  I can see you love what you do and so will others. That's why they wil be repeat customers and refer people to you!  God Bless.

Its an unforgettable name.  I have to say that the first time I saw it I didn't catch that it was your last name, but I did see that you were from Florida.  Great tag line.
