O'Fallon MO and St. Charles County MO Book Your Hayride Now, It is never too soon to book a "Monday Night Special" train or a sleigh-hayride to see the 17th Annual Celebration of Lights display.  You will travel over a one mile route of traditional and whimsical holiday scenes in Fort Zumwalt Park in O Fallon MO.

Train rides and sleigh-hayrides must be reserved at least two weeks in advance.

  • Train rides are available on December 1,8,15 and 22.  The cost is $7 per person for ages 12 and up, and $5 for ages 3 - 11.  Ages 2 and under are free but reservations must be made for all passengers.  The train leaves the "station" every 30 minutes from 5:15pm - 8:45pm (last ride).  No other vehicles will be allowed in the park on Monday nights.
  • Sleigh-Hayrides for groups of up to 25 people (including children on laps only) are available on Dec. 2, 3, 4, 10 and 11.  Cost is $100 per group.

The Celebration of lights is sponsored by the City of O'Fallon with support from local business and non-profit organizations.  The Celebration of Lights display will open on Friday Nov. 28th (the day after Thanksgiving) and run nightly through Tuesday Dec. 30th, except Dec. 24th & 25th when it will be closed.  For more information call O'Fallon's event hotline at 636-379-5614 or visit www.ofallon.mo.us.

Don,  what a great post... great to let people know about this fun event.  I do have to admit it looks a little chilly to me :-)  I had forgotten how brown everything can look during the winter months.  brrr  - hope there is some hot cider !
