After 26 years in the business, life gives you a few blows here and there that changes the focus of "it's all about me" to "it's time to give back to those who have given to me". So for many years, it was all about me.... For the past 10 years I have realized how lucky I have been and how many people have helped me achieve what I have achieved in life.
Therefore, we have pretty much thrown in the towel of the typical marketing that agents have done and have primarily focused on giving back to our community every week. It has turned the business side of real estate from the punishing grind of telling the world how great we are to helping the world the best we can. I highly recommend that more would realize how much more fun this business is when you focus on helping others rather than always helping you.....
Here are some of the area events that we are involved in...... Having kids makes this even more fun by giving to the area schools that our kids attend or have attended. Next week we will be delivering about 300 grocery bags full of food to the Austin Area Capital Food Bank to help a few of the hurricane victims.
